Gilroy Gardens NEW Water Oasis + DISCOUNT!

Summer is almost here and living in sunny California has so many perks! One of our favorite spots to beat the heat has always been Gilroy Gardens theme park, which is only about 20 minutes away from us. We love their Water Oasis, which I have posted about in the past. Well, I have some exciting news! The Water Oasis has EXPANDED!! (Check out my previous post HERE)

The Water Oasis has DOUBLED in size and has more water slides, a new splash pad, and many more places to climb and play for all ages! We were so thrilled to be some of the first to experience the NEW Water Oasis Splashdown before it officially opened to the public! We had the best experience and cannot wait to go back!

At the Opening event, we were able to enjoy delicious food, listen to live music and be there as the new waterslides were turned on for the FIRST time! Watching all of the children rush to the slides and splash in the water was so much fun to see! There is nothing like the excitement of being the very first to experience something like this! We were also provided with our own bags of goodies to remember the day and a COUPON for $18 OFF admission to Gilroy Gardens! The kids were overjoyed and mesmerized by all of the excitement!

Of course we still enjoyed the previous side of the Water Oasis, which is still just as fun as before, and comfortable for the younger children. The water slides are smaller and there is a large wading pool with water tables to splash in. There is also a mini water maze and fountains to run through! IMG_4644IMG_4639IMG_4633IMG_4629IMG_4618

We had so much fun that we bought season passes that day and are already planning our next visit!

Thank you Gilroy Gardens for inviting us to this Grand Opening Event! We look forward to visiting you all summer long!!

  1. Very cool! Wish we have something like this in good ol’ Maryland! Looks so clean and inviting! Loved to see that they have attractions for the smaller ones. I always worry that my 4 year old and 1 year old would get toppled over by bigger kids but this looks likes there’s enough room for everyone and there are spaces just for the little ones! Thanks for sharing! We will have to go when we visit the west coast 🙂
