BABY SIZE: She weighs almost two pounds (roughly the size of a head of cauliflower) and 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. HOW I’M FEELING: I am getting more and more anxious as the weeks go on. Instead of having so much focus on getting through this pregnancy, I am now focusing on my birth plan and bringing her home from the hospital. I had a scheduled cesarean with Kolton since he was breech, but this time around, I really want to have a VBAC. This is entering an unknown world for me so I am a bit nervous. I have been doing a lot of research and after getting the green light from my doctor, I have decided that this is the best fit for our family. I have registered us in some educational classes to get Curtis on the same page, and get me as prepared as I can be since I have never actually experienced labor before. I have been moving slower and slower these days and I want to have everything in order well before my due date just incase she decides to come early. There is still so much to be done in preparation for the delivery and the homecoming. I wish I could just clone myself! FAVORITE CLOTHES: I really love my Lululemon yoga pants. I got a couple of pairs in 2 sizes up just for my pregnancy and it was a great decision! They are super comfortable and will be wonderful postpartum as I get back in shape. FAVORITE FOODS: I have been a big snacker lately. Normal sized meals give me heartburn and make me feel full for hours, so I eat small portions throughout the day. I love fruit and protein bars and an occasional slice of pizza 🙂 NEWS THIS WEEK: Her neurons and brain tissue are developing rapidly and the brain waves are working like newborn brain waves. Her immune system, liver and lungs are still continuing to develop and preparing to function on their own. Her tiny eyelids have begun to open and retinas begun to develop. Her chance for survival if born now is between 80-95%!!
