This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

Creating is form of therapy for me but finding the time and motivation is my challenge. Then, I discovered the Cricut Explore Air 2. Where has this been my whole life? Now that I found it, it is time to see just what this machine is capable of. The crafts are endless. I chose the Cricut Explore Air 2 in the bold color fuschia which is exclusive to WalMart. I decided to start with something beginner appropriate and in the theme of Halloween, which is right around the corner. Just look at this beautiful piece of machinery.

What is the Cricut Explore Air 2:

This is the star of Cricut’s best-selling Cricut Explore family of smart cutting machines. It features speedier writing and cutting, Bluetooth wireless technology and powerful new features of your mobile devices. This machine is built to make crafting experiences faster, easier and more convenient.

Cricut has a design site where you can get all the ideas! I decided to make Halloween themed glassware. This is a good beginner idea to get used to the design site and just how the Cricut Explore Air 2 works.

After searching through the unlimited designs, I selected a haunted house and a spooky tree. Then I measured just how big I wanted my images on each glass. The graph makes this super easy and practically foolproof. I cleaned the glasses with rubbing alcohol and got started.

Cricut also offers an abundance of supplies and tools to make crafting easier and more efficient. I used black vinyl for this project. After cutting out the size that would fit these two images, I placed the vinyl directly onto the mat, which easily sticks in place. I connected the machine to my computer and followed the very simple instructions that the machine gave me. It was very impressive how quickly the Cricut Explore Air 2 cut my designs. I carefully removed the design from the mat and placed it on transfer tape then directly to the glassware.

I could not believe how easy this project was and how great these glasses turned out. Of course I learned a few things that I would do differently next time, and a few things that I could do to speed up the project.

Some other projects that I am looking forward to trying include:

Wood Signs

Gift and Greeting Cards

Felt Banners

Ornaments

Party Favors

And so much more…

My next project will be an iron on project using my Cricut Explore Air 2 along with my Cricut EasyPress 2 so stay tuned!

Keep creating!
