When I was in college, becoming a real adult and all of the responsibilities that come with it did not seem all that concerning. I planned to get my degree, get a great job, travel often, then buy a home and start a family. What I really did not consider was the work it takes to get all of those things and the importance of GOOD CREDIT! I actually opened my first credit card when I was 18 and maxed it out on one trip to the mall. You had better believe I was paying for those boots and makeup for a long time! Lesson learned…the hard way.
Now that I have a family to worry about and so many plans for us to enjoy life, I see how crucial my credit score is to obtaining my goals! With the exception of a few hiccups here and there, I have been able to maintain a good credit score but there is always room for improvement. This is where Lexington Law comes in!
