Do you listen to Podcasts with your kids? I did when they were younger, and recently started again. I find it brings out more creativity and imagination by listening and visualizing rather and seeing it on a screen. If you are searching for something fun and positive to listen to with your kids between the ages of 5-12 years old, you should try ‘Melon’s House Party’ -Season 2 from Wondery Kids! New episodes every Wednesday!

About Melon’s House Party

Did you know that the objects in your house sing and speak all day long? They just do so in a key only dogs can hear. Melon is a small pup with a huge heart. Melon is also the key to a special world that lives right under our noses! She lives in a world full of friends that are mere objects to us. These include an always singing record player, a soulless computer, her bookshelf therapist and many more. Melon’s best friend in the whole world is Couch (yes, and actual couch). No musical adventure is too big for these friends, as long as they can figure out a way to do it together.

As Melon learns about herself and the world around her, she shows us how to appreciate the little things in life and the importance of family and friends. I think this is a great example to teach our children.

Each episode is about 30 minutes, which is great for those shorter attention spans.

The Music

The music is my personal favorite part! Each episode tells a story mostly through fun, upbeat and catchy ORIGINAL songs! It’s tough not to want to get up and dance!

We are always taking road trips, and I have found that Melon’s House Party is a great alternative to screen time while in the car. And the episodes are family-friendly, so we can enjoy them together!

Tune in to ‘Melon’s House Party’ – Season 2 from Wondery Kids every Wednesday on the Wondery Kids App or wherever you get your podcasts.
