As parents, we always wear many hats, but with schools being closed, and kids home ALL DAY LONG, we parents are now doing more than ever! We are now teachers, housekeepers, all day chefs, boredom busters, crafters, child therapists, nurses, DIYers and constant snack providers. Seriously… I never knew two little people could eat so much! I have had my hands full these past few months trying to not only keep my children on track academically, but trying to keep them creative, raise them to be grateful and kind, and to follow a healthy lifestyle through exercise, well-balanced meals, and sensible snacking options. Snacking and Schoolwork

It seems like every time we sit down to work on Kolton’s assignments, he is hungry! So now I can hand him a package of Quaker Kids Organics Blueberry Flavored Bites, and problem solved! He can easily snack as he works. 

Now that we have the snacking down, we need to take more time to thank those who have been giving us the tools to keep our children on track academically since staying home… the teachers of course! 

Shayne’s pre-k teachers deliver us packets of projects to our door every week. And Kolton’s first grade teacher works so hard to help make his daily assignments go smoothly while from a distance! This situation has truly given me a newfound admiration for teachers! Thanks to Quaker Kids Organics, we found another way to let them know just how grateful we are!

We downloaded these fun color sheets from Quaker Kids Organic and spent some special time coloring them for our favorite teachers! We will put them in our window for everyone to see until we are able to give them directly to them.
