It is officially Fall now, but where we live, it still feels like summer! We are very blessed to have such wonderful weather almost year round, which gives us many opportunities to have fun outside. When the weekend comes around, my husband and I are so excited to grab the kids and find something fun for them (and us) to do. It is also extremely special for me to find some special bonding time with my son, Kolton. Being the oldest, we rarely get to spend alone time together anymore. When we do, I notice how much he is growing and maturing, as well as his love for life!
I love the fall season for many reasons, one being that it is FAIR season! Kolton has such a fascination with fairs and carnivals. He LOVES watching the rides and playing the games. I am always on the lookout for local fairs during these September and October months. When I found out the the St. Francis Cabrini Fair is just down the street from us, I thought it would be a great place to take Kolton for a mom and son date night!
First we ran to our local supermarket and grabbed some snacks of his choosing. He of course chose his favorite Goldfish® Crackers.
We love Goldfish® Crackers since they are always baked with real cheese! There are also no artificial flavors or preservatives and taste great! They are an easy snack to pack for all of our outdoor activities.
At the fair, Kolton and I had so much fun playing games, watching the band play, and even though he is still a little too young for most of the rides, he had a blast watching them!
It is so important for me to take him out just the two of us whenever possible. It also makes for a great bonding time between my husband and our daughter at home.
